NOMINATION INFORMATION & CRITERIA

Criteria & Eligibility

• • Athletes- graduate with minimum of 2 varsity letters, out of school for 10 years

  • Coach/School Official – significant contributions and 5 years removed from service to Genoa Schools.

  • Community Member – significant contributions

  • Special – to be considered by committee as presented.

Nominations

• • Nominations are ongoing and will be accepted anytime.

  • DEADLINE for consideration for the fall classes of the even numbered years is March 1^st.

  • Nominations will be accepted anytime after one has graduated or completed service to Genoa schools.

  • Nominations must be on official nomination sheets.

Information Requested & Required

• • Name, address, and phone number of nominee and nominator is essential for contact purposes.

  • Complete all areas applicable to profile your nomination – only information supplied will be used in the consideration process.

  • Include list of accomplishments & achievements as per above. Please indicate years of the awards. Include copies of photos, clippings, articles, stories, stat summaries, team award booklets, award certificates to validate awards. Only indicate sports where letters were earned.

  • May include a type written summary of the above or an additional sheet.

  • Be sure nomination is legible.

  • Be sure to provide documentation or verification of information such as pictures, copies or awards or articles, stats books, etc.
